Our departments

I give glory and honor to the almighty for enabling us to come up with this school website. As a Christian school our fulfillment is always found in our readiness to live for others. The only way we gain everything is to share it , give it away and direct it for the service of others. We find our own greatest fulfillment here in our chaplaincy department when we enrich the lives of others.

ACK Chepkongony secondary school is sponsored by the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) ,Diocese Of Kapsabet, Aldai Archdeaconary ,Ibanja deanwery, St. Peters Chepkongony Parish.

As a chaplaincy department we emphasize on a self directed and a disciplined student body. We work to achieve this through guidance and counseling services and prayers.

Secondly we ensure harmonious working relationship between essential staff, teaching staff, student body and the school administration through weekly staff fellowships, student fellowships,annual weekend challenge/Rallies and termly and annual prayers.

The department is mandated to organize special prayers, candidates prayer day, dedication and consecration of school property and other functions in consultation with the school administration and the relevant departments.

The department is headed by the school chaplain  assisted by the  Pagtrons  of various societies,namely Christian Union (CU), Young Catholic  Students (YCS), and Seventh Day Adventist (SDA)
